This is my first (and so far only) holiday-themed costume! I had thought about making one for quite a while, but it wasn’t until the 2017 mobile game Tales of Link holiday designs that I felt inspired to make one. Colette is one of my favorite characters, and I love cosplaying her in general.

I used a red linen, which wasn’t the warmest in the weather, but it happened to be heavily discounted at the time, so I couldn’t pass it up, as it did drape nicely. I used fleece for the edges on the dress, cape, and gloves. The gloves themselves are just white gloves that I already had, and the bracelet is a collection of wooden beads that I painted and strung together. I bought the boots at a Goodwill and added the decorations to them. Overall, it was a pretty easy costume to throw together.

However, I—of course—forgot my belt on the day we took pictures. C’est la vie!
