I love sailor designs (see Sailor Hikaru), so when Tales of Festival, an annual Tales fandom event in Japan, announced their designs for 2018 as nautical-themed, I was super thrilled! And when I saw Eleanor’s and learned that some of my friends had planned on doing those designs as well, I hopped aboard the ship.

I used the Simplicity 8160 pattern as a base for the sailor top, sleeves, collar, and bow, and I then modified it to be a dress. I didn’t do an amazing job on my modification, which is why it doesn’t fit me nicely. If I wanted to revisit the costume, I’d probably remake the dress from collar and sleeves down. I also had to buy a new wig for this as I couldn’t use my Arda Wigs chibi from default Eleanor. Stock was limited for Salmon, so I bought a Ferrari and straightened it.
